Took my girls to see this concert. It was incredible!! My friend Jon plays guitar for KC, and he was kind enough to take us back stage.....making me "mom of the year" for a full hour! Thanks Jon! Great mom/daughter weekend in Kansas City.

Chicken Little

Anyone who knows me would be surprised to find out that we have chickens. Twenty-five laying hens to be exact. Do you have any idea how many eggs that is? Did you know they give chickens a bath before going to the fair? Reminds me of Charlotte's Web, when they gave Wilber a buttermilk bath before going to the fair. I'm adjusting to farm animals...kind of.

Technology Challenged...

I am making an effort to get back here...but technology is slapping me in the face- again. What you see on the screen is an effort to fix things up a bit. Yes, I know the colors don't match and things are not lined up. I attempted to change the format and the background. Something happy to get me motivated to blog. I have ended up with quite an assortment of colors and backgrounds all on one.

I don't know how I did it.
